Join a MUN session

Enter the session code your chair shares to join a Model UN committee on Gavelling. Delegates pick their seat and follow the speakers list, ask to speak, chat, submit papers and vote from their own phone. Chairs use the chair code to run the room, and faculty advisors can follow their students.

How Joining Works

Do I need an account to join?
No. For a committee room the session code is enough. At a conference, a seat reserved for you asks you to sign in first, so nobody else can take it.
Where do I find the session code?
Your chair shares it. It is on the chair's screen, usually with a QR code you can scan with your phone.
How do chairs join?
Choose Chair and enter the chair code: the session code followed by four digits. Chairs assigned to a conference committee join from their account without it.
What can delegates do from their phone?
See the speakers list and where they are in it, ask to speak, chat with the room, submit working papers and vote when the chair runs the vote on devices.
Is it free?
Yes. Running and joining a committee room on Gavelling is free.
Which languages can I use?
English, Spanish, French, Portuguese and Arabic. Pick yours from the language menu at the top of this page.
