About the Conference

Aetolia-MUN is a student-organised, two-day Model United Nations conference held in the Art School of Messolonghi, in western Greece. The 2026 session is the second edition. It takes place on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 November 2026. Saturday has registration, the opening ceremony and committee work, and Sunday has committee work, a General Assembly plenary and the closing ceremony. The conference theme is "Youth, the Architects of Tomorrow". The FAQ says there is no fee to attend. The conference welcomes delegates from outside Messolonghi, and its FAQ says basic English is enough if delegates can express ideas and follow the debate. Applications for schools, independent delegates, press, staff, secretariat and chairs were marked closed when the site was checked.
