Akademeia Model United Nations 2027

About the Conference

AKAMUN is a Model United Nations conference organised by students of Akademeia High School in Warsaw. The whole programme, including the General Assembly, takes place at the school's campus in the Wilanów district. The fourth edition runs from 26 to 28 February 2027 with twelve committees and room for about 250 delegates. The conference has grown steadily since its first edition in 2023, which had just over 100 delegates, to around 170 to 180 delegates at each of the two editions that followed. Committees are graded so that newcomers and experienced delegates can each find a fit: UN Women, UNODC, WHO, UNEP and a FIFA congress are aimed at beginners, while the Security Council, the International Criminal Court, a historical committee and a crisis committee are rated expert. International students take part through delegations organised with the iSP partner network, with a package that includes accommodation. Topics are published closer to the conference.
