Anavryta Model Lyceum Model United Nations 2026

About the Conference

AMLMUN is the Model United Nations conference of the Model Lyceum of Anavryta, a public high school in Marousi, Athens. Its first session in 2018 made it the first MUN conference in Greece hosted by a public high school, and it is run by the school's students with teacher support. The fifth conference takes place from 27 to 29 November 2026 at the school, inside Syggrou Park in Marousi. It runs ten committees on 22 topics under the theme of the countdown to 2030 and progress on the Sustainable Development Goals, and expects about 350 delegates after more than 400 students took part in 2025. It is open to middle and high school students from Greece and abroad, and no previous MUN experience is needed thanks to beginner-friendly committees. Meals are included in a small participation fee, the working language is English, and the 2025 edition received a Silver ELT Excellence Award for community and collaboration.
