About the Conference
AntwerpMUN is a student association at the University of Antwerp that simulates the work of the United Nations and other multilateral bodies. It has been active for more than 15 years and, besides its yearly conference, runs workshops, lectures, study visits and practice debates through the academic year. The flagship three day simulation of the 2026 to 2027 year takes place in Antwerp, Belgium, from 18 to 20 February 2027. The venue has not been announced yet. Delegates take on the role of ambassadors for a country and debate global issues ranging from armed conflict to climate change and social inequality. The conference is aimed at university students, especially those studying diplomacy, law, international politics or economics, and the organisers welcome both experienced delegates and people attending their first simulation.
