Baltic Model United Nations 2027

About the Conference

BALMUN is the Baltic Model United Nations, a school conference hosted by the Innerstaedtisches Gymnasium Rostock in northern Germany, where students from different schools and countries simulate the work of the United Nations. The nineteenth edition, BALMUN 2027, runs from 20 to 23 May 2027 under the theme Strength: Seeking Solutions Through Shared Humanity, and is planned in person. The programme has an opening ceremony, three days of committee sessions, a dance and a closing ceremony, and visiting students stay with host families. It is aimed at school students and has a published agenda of seven committees, including a Baltic Council on regional questions such as sanctions evasion at sea and research into the Baltic Sea ecosystem.
