Berlin Model United Nations 2026

About the Conference

Berlin Model United Nations (BERMUN) is a school conference hosted by the John F. Kennedy School, a German-American public school in Berlin, together with the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung. Founded in 1992, it draws students from more than 25 countries across its fall and spring sessions. BERMUN XXXV, the fall session, runs from 18 to 21 November 2026 under the theme of resilient and sustainable development to combat climate inequality. More than 600 delegates take part, and committees are kept small so every delegate speaks every day. The programme runs from a Middle School MUN and a Youth Assembly for newcomers up to the Security Council, the courts and a Historical Security Council for experienced delegates.
