About the Conference
BIGMUN is an international Model United Nations conference hosted every year by Birkerød Gymnasium, a school in Birkerød about 25 minutes from central Copenhagen. It is one of the largest school conferences in Scandinavia. The 14th edition runs from 24 to 28 February 2027. The 2026 edition drew more than 450 participants across General Assembly, ECOSOC and ad hoc committees. It welcomes secondary school delegates and their teachers from Denmark and abroad, and registration for 2027 is open. A student press team publishes a daily conference newspaper, the BIGMONITOR, free for everyone attending. The 2027 committees have not been published yet.
