About the Conference
Budapest International Model United Nations (BIMUN) is organised by Eötvös József Gimnázium, which describes itself as the oldest non-denominational school in Budapest. The conference was first held in 2011 with 291 delegates and has run every year since. BIMUN 2027 takes place from 8 to 13 April 2027 in Budapest, including a Day 0 programme on the day before the committee sessions begin. It accepts school delegations of 2 to 24 students, who represent the same country across several committees, with larger delegations for great powers. The first registration step closed on 16 October 2026, and the 2027 committees and agenda are still to be announced.
