About the Conference

The Boston Model United Nations Conference is a high school conference founded in 2000 and run by Boston University undergraduates through the Boston University International Affairs Association. BosMUN XXVI, the 26th edition, takes place from 5 to 7 February 2027 at the Boston Marriott Copley Place and the Sheraton Boston Hotel. The organisers report more than 2,800 delegates from over 10 countries at the 2026 edition, making it one of the largest high school conferences in the United States. BosMUN describes itself as a training conference for delegates of every level, with novice committees in each category, free pre conference training, how to sessions run by BU's collegiate team, an opportunities fair and a financial grant. It was named Conference of the Year by All American Model United Nations in 2024.
