About the Conference

Brighton HSMUN is a one-day high school Model United Nations conference hosted by the International Youth Speaking Festival together with the BSU Model UN Society. The 2026 edition takes place on Saturday 7 November 2026 at Mithras House on the University of Brighton's Moulsecoomb campus, with 15 committees and 200 delegates from schools across the UK. Under the theme The Voices of Today, its committees put youth issues at the centre, from modern slavery and childhood hunger to lunar governance, and include two live Security Council crisis rooms. Schools register their delegation as a group.
