About the Conference

CMUNC is a high school Model United Nations conference hosted by the Cornell International Affairs Society at Cornell University. Its website numbers the 2027 edition as the twenty-fifth. The conference runs from 22 to 25 April 2027 in Ithaca, New York. The organisers say they welcome over six hundred fifty students every year, and that the event is held on the university campus rather than in an off-campus hotel. A staff of more than 80 Cornell students runs it. It is aimed at high school delegates, including international ones. Committees are grouped into General Assemblies and Summits, Specialised Committees, Crisis Committees and an Ad Hoc Committee, so there are options for newcomers and for experienced delegates.
