The Columbia Model United Nations Conference and Exposition is a conference for high school students hosted by the Columbia International Relations Council and Association, a student organisation at Columbia University. More than 100 Columbia students staff the event and its secretariat. The twenty sixth edition, CMUNCE XXVI, runs from 14 to 17 January 2027 on Columbia's Morningside Heights campus in New York City. The organisers say it welcomes over 900 students from around the world. CMUNCE is known for its focus on crisis simulation. The 2027 slate pairs General Assembly and specialised General Assembly committees with twenty five crisis committees, including a five way joint crisis committee, with topics ranging from historical moments to fictional worlds. Most crisis committees seat fewer than 25 delegates, and committees are single delegation unless stated otherwise. Off committee programming includes visits to United Nations missions, meetings with diplomats and a delegate dance on the Saturday night. The site also covers financial aid, hotel information and position paper guidelines. The full committee list and background guides had not been published when this listing was checked.
