About the Conference
Coornhert Model United Nations (COMUN) is a secondary school conference organised by senior students of the Coornhert Gymnasium in Gouda. It began in 2016 as a one-day event in the Gouda town hall and became a three-day conference in 2020. The 2027 edition takes place at the Coornhert Gymnasium in Gouda from 12 to 14 February 2027, under the theme Empowering public voices: strengthening civil society. Delegates from schools around the world represent countries in UN committees, write resolutions and give speeches. A dedicated first timer page helps newcomers prepare research reports and draft resolutions. The 2027 committees are still to be announced.
