About the Conference
elbMUN is a Model United Nations conference organised by Elbe Model United Nations e.V., a non-profit association run by students in Dresden. Participants take on the role of a country's delegation in UN councils and committees and negotiate resolutions on global issues. The 2027 edition takes place in Dresden, Germany, from 24 to 27 June 2027 under the theme "Fostering Dialogue, Shaping the Future". It runs over four days with committee sessions, expert sessions and social events. The organisers describe the conference as fully beginner friendly, so it suits first time delegates as well as those with some experience. Debate is in English, and the programme includes expert sessions and a social programme alongside committee work.
