Future We Want Model United Nations Conference Madrid 2027

About the Conference

FWWMUN, the Future We Want Model United Nations Conference, is run by the organisation Future We Want: Global Initiative for Young Leaders, which holds regional editions in cities across several continents. The Madrid edition is one of its European conferences, and the organisation also offers a certified diplomacy training with the New York Academy of Diplomacy. FWWMUN Madrid takes place in Madrid from 8 to 11 March 2027, with more than 300 delegates expected. The programme opens with optional workshops on youth involvement, the Sustainable Development Goals and leadership, followed by four days of committee sessions, an opening and a closing ceremony and social events. The hotel and venue are still to be confirmed, and topics are published closer to the conference. It is open to high school delegates aged 13 to 19 and university delegates aged 17 to 26, with observers and faculty advisors also welcome. Delegates can register alone or in a delegation of at least five. Committees are assigned by level of experience, so first time delegates start in committees built to teach procedure.
