About the Conference
GimBMUN is the Model United Nations conference of Gimnazija Bežigrad, a Ljubljana grammar school founded in 1596 that teaches both the Slovene national programme and the International Baccalaureate. It is planned and run by the school's student-led Model UN club. The eighth edition, GimBMUN VIII, takes place in Ljubljana from 21 to 23 January 2027. It is aimed at secondary school students from Slovenia and abroad. At the 2026 edition, committees met at the school and the opening ceremony was held at the National Council of Slovenia. The committees and agenda for 2027 have not been published yet.
