About the Conference
Good Cop Bad Cop MUN is the yearly online Model United Nations conference of Engage With China, a UK educational charity, hosted together with The King's School in Macclesfield. It brings together state, independent and international schools. The 2027 edition takes place online on Friday 29 January 2027, from mid morning to early afternoon UK time, with more than 400 pupils taking part from several time zones. The conference language is English, and the resolutions debated are based on the most recent United Nations climate conference. It is for pupils aged 14 to 18 and newcomers to Model UN are welcome. Free preparation workshops run beforehand, one in late November for teachers and advisors and one in January for chairs and proposers, and schools or individual pupils can take on chair and proposer roles.
