About the Conference
HabsMUN is the Model United Nations conference of Haberdashers' Elstree Schools, the Habs Boys and Habs Girls schools in Hertfordshire, just northwest of London. It is affiliated with THIMUN. The 19th annual conference runs from the evening of Friday 12 March to the afternoon of Sunday 14 March 2027 on the school site in Elstree, under the theme Empowering Dialogue. Friday brings the opening ceremony and lobbying, Saturday is committee debate, and Sunday closes with a General Assembly where the strongest resolutions are debated by all delegates. Its committees cater for beginners as well as experienced students, and chairing roles go through a short selection.
