About the Conference
International Model Parliament, or IMP, is a student debating conference in Paris that goes beyond the usual United Nations format. It brings together simulations of several political systems in one event, and describes itself as one of the most varied debating conferences in the city. IMP Paris 2027 is planned in person from 22 to 25 April 2027. About 250 delegates are expected. Delegate applications open in December 2026, and the venue is still to be announced. It is open to high school and university students from any country, with no need to know US procedure beforehand. Delegates can take part in a US Model Congress strand with a House, a Senate and a Supreme Court, as well as a UK Parliament, a European Union committee and a UN Security Council. Committee topics have not been published yet.
