About the Conference

IMUN Torino is the Torino edition of the Italian Model United Nations, a series of regional Model UN simulations for Italian high school students. It is organised by United Network, a non governmental organisation based in Rome, with Leonardo Educazione Formazione Lavoro supporting the teaching side. It is the 11th edition and is described as the largest diplomatic simulation in Piedmont. The simulation runs in Torino from 11 to 13 January 2027, and all the work is done in English. Delegates represent UN member states, give speeches, write draft resolutions and negotiate, following United Nations rules of procedure. The sessions are directed by the United Network staff board, and the conference ends with a plenary vote on the resolutions. The participation fee for the training path is 180 euros. It is open to students from Piedmont and needs no particular level of English. The best delegate wins a training voucher that covers the cost of joining the MUNER simulation in New York, which makes it a good first conference for students who want to continue to larger events.
