About the Conference
KlaMUN is the first Model United Nations conference held in Kladno, a town west of Prague. It is a young, volunteer-run event founded in 2025 that aims to bring MUN to high school and upper primary students across the region, and participation is free. The first edition runs from 20 to 22 November 2026 and expects more than 100 delegates in four committees. Friday and Saturday sessions take place at Sportovni gymnazium Kladno and the Sunday programme moves to the CTU FBMI building in Sitna. The three days include icebreaker games, committee sessions, a social event, resolution voting and a closing ceremony with awards. It is aimed at students new to MUN, and the site includes a preparation guide covering country research and position papers. The Economic and Social Council is held entirely in English, and the other committees are offered in English and Czech, which makes it a low-pressure first conference. Committees š”ļø UN Security Council (Middle East Conflict and Regional Stability) š UN Office on Drugs and Crime (Combating Transnational Organized Crime) šļø Human Rights Council (Protection of Women and Girls in Conflict Zones) š¼ Economic and Social Council (Digital Divide and Access to Technology)
