About the Conference
MarieMUN, the Marie Sklodowska-Curie Model United Nations, is a student conference in Warsaw that mixes classic Model UN debate with themes from biology, medicine, technology and international policy. It is inspired by the scientist Marie Sklodowska-Curie, who was born in Warsaw. The conference runs from 11 to 13 December 2026 in Warsaw, Poland, and the organisers say it is the current edition. Its committee list covers beginner, intermediate and expert levels, and one more committee is still to be announced. It welcomes first-time delegates as well as experienced ones. It stands out for tying diplomacy to science and health topics, so it suits students who like both debate and the life sciences. Committees š”ļø United Nations Security Council š©ŗ World Health Organization š¤ UN Women šļø Human Rights Council š United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime š¼ Economic and Social Council š» Commission on Science and Technology for Development
