About the Conference
The Munich Diplomacy Summit is a university Model United Nations conference hosted by MUNTUM, the Model UN society of the Technical University of Munich, which describes itself as the largest such society in Germany. The third edition runs from 8 to 11 April 2027 in Munich, following editions in 2025 and 2026, and about 150 delegates are expected. Its 2027 theme is Engineering Peace, about debugging the past and building new systems. Committees are offered at beginner, intermediate and expert level, with workshops for first time delegates. It is open to university students from any field and no previous experience is needed. Delegates apply with committee preferences and are then given a country or role. The slate includes a bicameral crisis, where two committees affect each other, and an international press corps.
