About the Conference
Montana MUN is the Model United Nations conference of Institut Montana, an international boarding school on the Zugerberg above Zug. Its roots go back to the school's International Relations Club of the 1940s. The 2026 conference runs from the afternoon of 30 October to midday on 1 November 2026 in the school's Art Nouveau Aula, about an hour from Zurich. Recent editions have welcomed around 100 delegates. It is open to high school students in grades 7 to 12, who attend with a teacher. The whole conference sits as a single General Assembly and runs digitally, so every delegate brings a laptop or tablet.
