About the Conference
MUNIMUN is the Model United Nations conference of Masaryk University in Brno, organised by a student association at the university's Faculty of Social Studies. It aims to reproduce the dynamics of real international politics in a setting where students can learn, debate and lead. The 2027 edition takes place in person from 9 to 11 April 2027 at the Faculty of Social Studies in Brno. The 2027 committee list has not been published yet; the previous edition ran nine committees, including the Security Council, DISEC, ECOFIN, Legal, SOCHUM, the Human Rights Council, the Commission on the Status of Women, UNODC and Interpol. It is mainly for university students. The registration fee has covered lunches on both conference days, conference materials and the social programme, and the organisers publish preparation materials for first-time delegates on their website.
