About the Conference

The National Collegiate Security Conference (NCSC) is the flagship university Model UN conference of the Georgetown International Relations Association, a student-run non-profit at Georgetown University. It has run every year since 1972, and its committees are built around security in a broad sense, from councils and cabinets to corporate boards and historical crises. NCSC LIV, the 54th edition, takes place from 5 to 8 November 2026 at the Washington Hilton in Dupont Circle, Washington, DC. The organisers expect more than 800 delegates across 29 committees, run by a staff of over 270 Georgetown students. It is aimed at university delegates and is a fixture of the North American collegiate circuit. Most of the slate is crisis or small specialised committees, including joint crisis committees, cabinets and a Court, with some committees held outside the venue at Washington institutions.
