About the Conference

ODUMUNC is the Model United Nations conference run by the Model UN program at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. It is a long-running event for high school students, and the 2027 edition is its 50th annual conference. The conference takes place from 11 to 14 February 2027 over Presidents' Day weekend at the Sheraton Waterside Hotel in Norfolk. Schools register online and send in a registration form and fee, with a final registration deadline of 4 December 2026 and training sessions held in early February. Delegations are assigned after the school registration is complete. It is aimed at high school delegations with a faculty advisor and offers a mix of country-based General Assembly committees, specialised bodies such as the Security Council, the World Bank and the G20, and three crisis committees, including a French Revolution simulation and a White House Situation Room.
