About the Conference

PPSMUN is a Model United Nations conference organised by students of Philadelphia Private School in Dubai, with a student secretariat and teams for research, logistics, media, arts and crisis. The 2026 edition runs over three days, from 13 to 15 November 2026, on the school's campus in Dubai. Its theme is law and justice, and the twelve committees look at how justice systems and the rule of law shape human rights, international security and public institutions. The programme includes an opening ceremony, six committee sessions, a social evening and a closing ceremony. The conference is open to PPS students and to outside participants from high school and college. It suits newcomers well: delegates can sign up for an online training session before the conference, and a delegate guide covers position papers, procedure, resolutions and awards. Topics are shared with delegates ahead of the conference.
