About the Conference
ROCKMUN is the Model United Nations conference of Blackrock College, a school on the south side of Dublin. It is hosted and organised by the college's MUN Society, with students leading the conference and school staff giving oversight. The 2027 conference runs over two days, 22 and 23 January 2027, on the Blackrock College campus in Blackrock, Co. Dublin. The organisers invite schools from Dublin, the surrounding counties and further afield, and send expression of interest forms to school advisors. The conference runs paperless and publishes rules of procedure and a guide for new delegates on its website. It suits secondary school delegates who want a short weekend conference in the Dublin area, including first time delegates. The website explains key terms such as resolutions, points of information and points of order for newcomers.
