About the Conference
Scotland Model United Nations (ScotMUN) is Scotland's first Model UN conference, founded in 2007 after Edinburgh hosted WorldMUN in 2005. Since 2010 it has been hosted solely by the Edinburgh University Model United Nations Society (EdMUN). ScotMUN XX, the twentieth anniversary edition, runs from 5 to 7 March 2027 on the Old College and George Square campuses of the University of Edinburgh, in the centre of the city. The conference is known for small committees that give every delegate room to speak, and for its social programme, including a traditional ceilidh. Recent editions offered committees at beginner, intermediate and advanced levels.
