SEK Model United Nations 2027

About the Conference

SEKMUN is the Model United Nations conference of the SEK education group in Madrid, run together with Universidad Camilo José Cela. It is a long running secondary school simulation in which students represent member states across General Assembly committees and specialised bodies. The 21st edition runs from 9 to 12 March 2027. The opening ceremony is held in the Spanish Senate and the debates take place on the Villafranca campus of Universidad Camilo José Cela in Madrid. There are twelve in person committees plus one online General Assembly committee, and each school can bring a delegation of up to twelve students. It is for secondary school students aged 15 to 18, who attend with a teacher from their school. The conference is bilingual, with debate in Spanish and English, and registration closes on 15 January 2027.
