About the Conference

St. Gallen Model United Nations (SGMUN) is the annual international conference of the Model UN club of students at the University of St. Gallen (HSG) in Switzerland. The club also runs smaller debates and social events in St. Gallen through the year. The 2026 conference takes place in St. Gallen from 3 to 6 December 2026, at the university on Dufourstrasse. It runs over four days and gathers around 130 delegates in seven committees. The conference is aimed at university students from Switzerland and abroad, and both first time and experienced delegates are welcome. Committees range from beginner rooms such as WHO and DISEC to a historical International Court of Justice and a Grand European Crisis Council set anywhere from the 1600s to 1914, with an International Press Corps covering every room. The social programme includes a traditional raclette dinner and a gala night.
