Stockholm International School Model United Nations 2027

About the Conference

SISMUN is the Model United Nations conference organised by Stockholm International School. It has run since 2013, and the school describes its aim as fostering dialogue, diplomacy and global awareness among students. The 2027 edition takes place from 28 to 30 January 2027 at Norra Latin, a neo-Renaissance building from the 1880s on Drottninggatan in central Stockholm. About 250 delegates are expected. The 29 January programme also includes a separate Mini-MUN for the host school's own younger students. The conference is open to students from other schools, who debate in three committees that are labelled by the organisers for advanced, less experienced and somewhat experienced delegates, so first time delegates have a place as well as returning ones. Resources for delegates and chairs are on the conference site. Committees 🏛️ HSC (Chilean Coup of 1973) 🌍 United Nations Office for West Africa and the Sahel (Instability in the Sahel) 🛡️ United Nations Security Council (Drug trafficking, gang related violence and gang infiltration of government institutions in South and Central America)
