About the Conference
TOMUN, the Turin Model United Nations, is a Model UN conference organised and hosted by the International School of Turin, whose MUN club meets weekly through the school year. The school has run the conference for several years in partnership with the International Labour Organization. The 2027 edition takes place in person from 6 to 8 March 2027. The first two days are held at the school's campus in Chieri, just outside Turin, and the final day moves to the ILO International Training Centre campus in Turin. Eight committees have been announced so far, with a closing General Assembly session still to be detailed. It suits students who want a compact weekend of committee debate followed by a final day on a UN campus. Delegates lobby, draft and vote on resolution clauses in committee before taking their resolutions to the General Assembly, and the site offers guides on debate, policy statements and resolution writing to help with preparation.
