About the Conference

The University of Dubai Model United Nations (UDMUN) is a student conference run by the debating club of the University of Dubai. It follows Harvard rules of procedure and offers cash prizes for the best chair and best delegate, with position papers required for award consideration. The sixth edition takes place in Dubai from 6 to 8 November 2026 over three days: registration and an opening ceremony on the Friday afternoon, four full sessions across Friday and Saturday, a social night, and a closing ceremony on the Sunday. Lunch and refreshments are provided. The conference expects 100 or more delegates, and institutions can register up to 15 delegates each. It is open to school and university delegates, with committees grouped by experience into beginner, intermediate and advanced levels, so first-time delegates and experienced ones each have a suitable room. The advanced level includes the Security Council, UN Women and a simulation of the International Court of Justice.
