About the Conference
UMLMUN is the high school Model United Nations conference run by the College of Fine Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. It is held at the UMass Lowell Inn and Conference Center in downtown Lowell, Massachusetts. The 2027 conference runs from Thursday 1 to Saturday 3 April 2027, in person. It usually draws more than 175 delegates each spring, and registration opens in January. It is aimed at high schools in Eastern Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire. Delegates represent countries in a traditional debate setting while practising research, public speaking, negotiation and writing, and the programme also includes a crisis conference and featured speakers.
