About the Conference

VGSMUN is the Model United Nations conference of VidyaGyan School in Sitapur, Uttar Pradesh, a school that is an initiative of the Shiv Nadar Foundation. The students of the school organise it on their own campus. The 2026 edition is the third one and takes place on 2 and 3 November 2026 at the school in Sitapur. It is a two day conference with six committees and a stated 250 or more delegates, under the theme Ad Astra Per Aspera. It is aimed at school students and mixes classic formats with more unusual ones. Besides a Security Council, it offers a simulation of the Indian lower house, a Roman Senate, a corporate crisis committee, an International Court of Justice case and a press corps.
