Washington Area Model United Nations Conference 2027

About the Conference

The Washington Area Model United Nations Conference is a high school conference hosted by the International Affairs Society at The George Washington University, the university's largest nonpartisan student organisation. The 29th edition, WAMUNC XXIX, runs over four days from 18 to 21 March 2027 in Washington, D.C. The organisers say it draws more than 1,300 high school students from the United States and abroad. WAMUNC is open to experienced and first time delegates. Alongside committee sessions the programme includes briefings, lectures and talks from professionals in related fields. The committee page lists the first General Assembly bodies for this edition; more committees and topics may follow.
