About the Conference
WEMUN Japan in Kobe is the Japanese edition of the WE The People Model United Nations series, run by the We The People Conferences organisation. Student delegates represent countries in simulated United Nations committees over three conference days. The 2027 edition takes place from 23 to 25 February 2027 at the Portopia Hotel in Kobe. The organisers expect about 1,000 delegates from around 100 countries, spread over 6 committees. It is aimed at international students and offers a basic conference package as well as hotel packages with optional sightseeing in Kyoto, Nara and Osaka. Merit scholarships are available through an interview, and the organisers say they recognise outstanding delegates with awards.
