About the Conference

Yale Model United Nations South Asia is a three day Model UN conference for high school students, staffed by members of the Yale International Relations Association. Its committee directors are Yale students, and the conference has run in different forms since 2014, including a virtual edition. The second edition under the YMUNSA name, YMUNSA II, takes place from 27 to 29 November 2026 at Harrow International School Bengaluru, north of central Bengaluru and about 25 minutes from the airport. The organisers list eleven committees, one of them held online, so a few hundred delegates can be expected. It suits secondary school students from India and abroad, from first timers to experienced delegates. Besides standard General Assembly and regional bodies it offers specialised and crisis rooms on Indian history and the film industry, along with a career fair, speaker events and workshops. Registration is rolling until capacity is reached.
