About the Conference

New Generation of Model UN GIOMUN 2026 Global International Online Model United Nations GIOMUN is an international online Model United Nations conference bringing together delegates from different countries to participate in a structured simulation of multilateral diplomacy. The conference provides participants with an opportunity to represent UN Member States, examine international issues, exchange perspectives, negotiate with other delegations, and work collectively toward the adoption of resolutions. CONFERENCE FORMAT GIOMUN is conducted entirely online, allowing delegates to participate regardless of their geographical location. The conference follows established Model United Nations procedures while adapting them to an accessible and dynamic digital environment. Throughout the sessions, delegates will: represent their assigned countries; deliver opening and policy speeches; participate in formal debate; negotiate during unmoderated caucuses; establish working blocs and partnerships; draft and introduce resolutions; propose amendments; defend their positions; vote on final documents. COMMITTEES Each committee focuses on a specific international issue requiring diplomatic discussion and cooperation. Delegates are expected to approach the agenda from the perspective of their assigned country rather than from their personal opinions. This allows participants to experience one of the fundamental principles of international diplomacy: representing national interest
