About the Conference

The Model United Nations of Nyborg (MUNNY) is a high school conference hosted by Nyborg Gymnasium on the Danish island of Funen. It started in 2012 and was relaunched in 2023 with a format built around councils and small groups. The 15th edition runs from 4 to 7 February 2027 in Nyborg, a short trip from Odense, with about 200 delegates expected. It brings together high school students from Denmark and abroad. Alongside councils on economic, human rights, disarmament and health issues, MUNNY runs a Historical Security Council and an International Court of Justice that hears real cases.
