OAKMUN 2026 is Oakridge International School, Bengaluru's flagship Model United Nations conference, taking place from December 17 to 19, 2026. Over three days, delegates from schools across the city and beyond will debate pressing global issues, draft resolutions and practise the diplomacy, negotiation and public speaking that sit at the heart of international affairs. This year's conference has 12 committees, ranging from classic General Assembly bodies to specialised and crisis formats. Highlights include a Historical UN Security Council (H-UNSC) run as a double-delegation committee, Alea Iacta Est, a Joint Crisis Committee, and Committee X, a Historical Crisis Committee. SPECPOL runs online this year with an international Executive Board, which opens the conference to a wider range of participants. OAKMUN is run entirely by a student Secretariat across eight departments, covering everything from delegate affairs to logistics and technology.
