About the Conference
The Horizon Summit Model United Nations (THSMUN) is a Model United Nations conference taking place in Guwahati, Assam, India, from 7–9 May 2027. Founded in 2026, THSMUN aims to bring together students interested in diplomacy, international affairs, public policy, strategic decision-making, and global cooperation. Built around the motto “Deliberate. Decide. Deliver.”, THSMUN seeks to provide a forum for informed debate, constructive negotiation, critical thinking, and collaborative problem-solving. Through committee deliberations, delegates will have opportunities to develop their research, public speaking, negotiation, analytical reasoning, and leadership skills while engaging with complex issues from different perspectives. THSMUN aspires to foster an environment where preparation, thoughtful discourse, and purposeful decision-making are central to the conference experience.
